Our Initiatives
What we doShow up
01. Rescue and Rehabilitation
At CWOT, we are dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of a variety of wildlife species, such as Chimpanzees, African Gray Parrots, Vervet Monkeys, and Pangolins. Our expert care and specialized rehabilitation programs are designed to facilitate their recovery and eventual release into semi-enclosed forested environments that closely mimic their natural habitats. By doing so, we actively contribute to ongoing species conservation initiatives.

04. Research at Chimfunchi
Our commitment to research plays a pivotal role in advancing wildlife conservation and ecological understanding. Over the years, research conducted at Chimfunshi has provided invaluable insights into primate behavior, habitat dynamics, and species interactions. This knowledge not only informs our conservation efforts but also contributes to broader scientific understanding and informs policy decisions aimed at protecting wildlife and their habitats
